Refund policy
At Seas of Change, we are committed to providing high-quality products and a positive shopping experience. This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and the process for addressing any issues with your purchase.
1. Change of Mind
Due to the hygienic nature of our swimwear and apparel, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Incorrect sizing
- Change in colour or style
- Personal preference
- Accidental purchases

2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy.
To report an issue, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@seasofchange.com.au, including:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs showing the defect or error
Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- A replacement item
- A repair (where applicable)
- A refund to the original payment method
3. Return Process
If a return is approved, we will provide detailed instructions on how to return the item. Our return address will be supplied only after the return request has been authorised. Items sent back to us without prior approval may not be accepted.
Where a return is due to a confirmed fault or an error on our part, we will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping.
4. Hygiene Requirements
Items returned for assessment should be in a clean and hygienic condition and include original tags. Returns that do not meet these hygiene standards may not be accepted unless the item is defective.
5. Sale Items and Gift Cards
- Sale or promotional items: Not eligible for return or exchange unless they are faulty or not as described.
- Gift cards: Non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. Refunds
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process and post the refund.
7. International Orders
For international customers, this policy applies in addition to any mandatory rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws in the country of purchase. Where such laws grant additional rights, those rights will apply to the extent required.
